Automatically resize YouTube videos with a handy Chrome extension

In this fast-paced world of instant messages and constant Tweeting, it seems that we can’t be satisfied doing only one thing at a time. Heck, we can’t even watch a simple YouTube video without wanting to scroll through the comments. Of course, doing so means that you can’t see the video any longer. Well now there’s a handy extension for Google Chrome that can help you out with this.

The Smart Video Enlarger is an extension that does a few things for your videos. First, you can set it so that whenever you play a YouTube video, it will automatically take up a specific portion of your window. It will then scale up or down depending on the size of your window (because sometimes you don’t want your browser to take up your whole screen). It will also scale down the video if you try to read comments. This means that your video will stay visible while scrolling, however, it will simply get smaller as you scroll down. Scroll back up, and it will get larger again. Pretty neat, eh?
