Handheld Espresso Machine gives you a caffeine fix anywhere

Having an espresso machine can be a blessing and a curse. You can make espresso at home whenever you want and never have to come down off of that caffeine buzz. The downside is that when you go anywhere else, you have to rely on someone else to make your espresso and hope and pray that its the right temperature and taste youve come to expect. Herein steps Hammacher Schlemmer to make sure you can have espresso whenever you want.

The Handheld Espresso Maker almost resembles an ice cream scoop from first glance at the side. It is, however, much more complicated than that, as it uses gas cartridges that exert 9 bars of pressure (which is more than some machine pump out) and uses a trigger that lets you control how much espresso goes into your glass. These gas cartridges cost about $16 to replace, but will make up to eight serving of espresso. This package comes with dual spouts for those of us who need more than one shot, four gas cartridges, a tamper, travel pouch, water reservoir, and three coffee baskets for finely or coarsely ground coffee. All main components are removable and hand-washable so theres no worry over not being able to keep it clean. You’re going to have to really love espresso, as this device is going to set you back a whopping $190.

  • Another great handheld espresso maker that I love is this the Handpresso Espresso Maker. You can use it with pods OR your own coffee grounds, so you can still use your favorite coffee and not be stuck with expensive pods.
