VW Camper Van Tents

From 1965 on, you would see hordes of hippies traveling around the US in Volkswagen Camper Vans. The chances of seeing these gas-guzzling giants around are near impossible anymore, especially with high fuel prices. If you still want to travel with all that hippie style, you may want to look into getting the VW Camper Van Tent. This 1:1 scale replica of the 1965 Camper is officially licensed by Volkswagen, and has color choices of red, yellow, or blue.

Although Im not even particularly interested in flower power and all that jazz, this iconic-looking tent actually seems like it might be pretty nice. It can comfortably fit four people, and has a divider down the middle for if you want your own space. This tent also has vertical space as it was designed to let its residents stand. Its a little up there in price at around $486, but not having to crawl around in a tent on all fours ever again makes that price awfully tempting. Too bad it doesnt ship out until August, seeing as camping season will be nearly over by then.
