Mowing the lawn seems like such a boring chore. Even if you have a small yard, no one wants to put on disgusting clothing and have to crank out the giant, noisy gas-guzzler. Some of us actually cant, either from having allergies, a disability, or just plain old not having the time to do so. If you fall under any of those categories, or just dont feel like mowing the lawn anymore, you may want to look into the Robomower.
If installing a little wire around the perimeter of your lawn and buying a little robot meant you never had to mow the lawn again, would it be worth it to you? The Robomower will choose the best path to mow, and will never stray outside of its wired in area. The set up is very similar to pet containment systems. The wire would be just about invisible, as it would disappear as the grass grew. Try not to let it scare you, but the cost is at anywhere from $1900-$2700. However, keep in mind that this thing can even start itself up at a predetermined date and time if youd like. Im going to say that this is likely worth the money spent.
