When I plan to travel, I spend a lot of time looking at hotels. Its not always easy to find the best price and location. Sure, there are a lot of travel sites to help you out, but sometimes I want to hone in on a very specific area, and select lodgings from that area only. Ive seen one or two sites that do an okay job, but this new Hotel Finder from Google does it the best.
All you need to do is go to the site, plug in the city and state, then select your dates and search. You will then be presented with a map that you can click on and interact with. Youll be shown a box with four points that you can drag anywhere, which limits the area of your search. You wont actually be able to book a room through the service, but you can at least compare rates with those from the same time last year.
