Make stop-motion gifs on your Android device with Gifinator

Have you ever wanted to make your own stop-motion videos? You’re probably not going to have the steady hand or patience to make something as professional-looking as Robot Chicken or Gumby, but it can still be fun. If you have an Android device, it’s also really easy. All you need to do is download Gifinator.

This free app lets you take a set of pictures, and then assembles them together into a gif file. If you’re not familiar with the gif extension, just think of a picture you’ve seen online that moves in a loop. The free version of this app is limited to 10 frames, which is enough to have fun. However, if you want to shell out $.99, you can get the full version which doesn’t have that limitation.

  • I use Clayframes which seems more professional and uses onion skinning so you can see exactly where your last frame was.
