Ge.tt makes sharing large files easier than ever

When you need to share a file that’s more than a few megabytes in size, many people will turn to a service like Dropbox, which can be a perfect solution. Of course if you’re new to the service, you’ll need to sign up for an account, then download and install the software before you can begin using it. For someone just wanting to quickly share a 70MB file, this can be more of a hassle than they want to mess with. For those people, Ge.tt might be a better solution.

Ge.tt is a simple file sharing site that allows you to upload your files up to 250MB in size for free. While that might not sound like a huge deal, you can do this without needing to sign up for an account. Just upload, grab the link, then send it to the person who needs to download the file. You don’t even have to wait for it to finish uploading to get the link, which means you can immediately fire off an email with the link, and go about your business as it finishes uploading. Now if you want to take a few seconds to sign up for an account, you’ll get 2GB of storage, for free. Premium accounts will allow you to get up to 40GB of space, if you need more.
