Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 was built for the living room

If you’re the type that has a computer in the living room for all of your entertainment needs, at some point you’ve had to figure out how to deal with using a keyboard and mouse. There are remotes for Windows Media Center and such, but if you want to type something into Netflix, or simply search the web, you’ll need something a bit more advanced. Since the hardest part to handle on a couch is the mouse, Logitech has decided to make a keyboard with a built-in trackpad just for this.

The Wireless Touch K400 might pass for a regular compact keyboard, if it weren’t for the fancy pad on the right. Doing away with the arrow keys, number pad and a few other keys, Logitech has made room for a small multi-touch trackpad to help in your browsing experience. It is kept completely wireless by using one of Logitech’s tiny Unifying receivers, which barely sticks out of the USB port it’s plugged into. For just $40, this is the perfect setup for any HTPC.
