I don’t spend a lot of time on my bike these days, so repairing damaged tires doesn’t happen too often. However, for those of you that deal with this on a semi-regular basis, you know how much of a pain it can be to even get that flat tire off rim. You’ll also instantly see the appeal of this Cobra Tire Tool.
This tool is amazingly simple. Just use the small hooked end to get between rubber and rim, then spin the tire around and hook the other end to your frame. Now that it’s in place, you need only spin the tire for one full revolution, and it will be ready pop off. The tool is cheap (just $6) and is small enough to store in your regular tool bag.
