When you’re taking a picture it’s essential to keep the camera as still as possible. This rings true whether you’re using the most expensive DSLR, or your cell phone. Sometimes the best way to keep it still is to not touch the camera at all. This involves either setting a timer, or using some sort of remote. What’s interesting is that if you have an iPhone, there are a number of things that can be used as a remote for the camera.
Since Apple finally added the ability to use the volume rocker to control the shutter, this opened up some interesting options. In fact, any Bluetooth accessory that can control the volume will work control the camera as well. This includes headsets and even the standard wireless Apple keyboard. Now you can take perfectly still shots, possibly without even having to make an additional purchase.
