If you have a very specific musical taste, there’s a good chance that the radio is not going to be playing what you want to listen to in the car. There are all kinds of gadgets that will plug into your car for your iPhone, letting you listen to the songs of your choice. Things that stick to the window, plug into the cigarette lighter and more are available, but they don’t seem to work as well as they should. Wouldn’t it be great if your stereo was specifically designed to work with your phone?
The Dash brought to us by Devium is looking like it’s the best option thus far. It uses rare Earth magnets to hold your phone in place. It sits in landscape mode, and gives you access to a variety of streaming services, in addition to the music already on your phone. What’s more is that they have designed a special companion app that talks to apps like Pandora and IHeartRadio. What’s nice is that the companion app gives you more car-friendly buttons than you would otherwise find. It normally costs $300, but will only be $250 during its pre-order phase of Kickstarter.
