The Mobile Device Station keeps your iPhone from getting stepped on

Plugging in your phone is an everyday occurrence, although where you plug it in changes as you move about the house. Sometimes it’s on your bedside table or desk, and other times it sits on the ground with its cord all tangled around it. Normally it is close to the nearest empty outlet you can find. It’s not that you don’t have a lot of outlets, it’s just that you have too many electronic devices sitting around that are always plugged in.

Now, leaving any object on the floor means that there is an increased chance of it being stepped on and crushed into oblivion. Not only will that mean you need to replace a several hundred dollar lifeline, but if it was your iPhone you crushed, you also can’t call the ambulance. This is where Leviton’s Mobile Device Station comes in. It is a very simple mount that will keep your device a safe distance from the ground. The best part? You don’t need to make any new holes for it. Simply remove your regular electrical outlet faceplate, and replace it with the Leviton plate. Costing only $16, this is a quick and easy way to prevent what could be a bad situation.
