When our children grow up, we want them to be just as big of nerds as we are. Chances are, they’re going to be reading Lord of the Rings by the age of four, and pretending to be courageous little hobbitfolk. They can’t really be much else other than a dwarf, and they just aren’t old enough for a beard yet.
If you want to make their nerdom complete, you can buy them one of these Hobbit Hole playhouses. Of course, you know full well that it’s going to be hard to stay out of this 12′ playhouse, so just embrace the fact that you’ll be playing in it too beforehand. It has a clearance of 6′ 3″ for all of you who sit around the height of wizards and elves, but you will have to pick it up from Maine if you want one. Well, that and have anywhere from $2,000-$3,000 on hand to pay for the thing.
Playhouse? I think that could be my new office!
