Vebarius Digitless Clock uses words to tell the time

If you have ever had to travel to a different country, you might have been face to face with a language barrier. While it is quite difficult to learn a whole new language, it’s better to know a little than nothing at all. A great place to start, is with numbers, and the Verbarius Digitless Clock is here to be your guide.

Instead of showing numbers on its LCD screen, you will instead be presented with words that tell the time. The clock may read, half past two or two thirty in a variety of different languages. It comes pre-programmed with English, German, Spanish, French, and Russian, but you can download several others as well. This comes with an SD card, a USB port on the back, and a midnight tinted glass display panel. It’s price is a little more than hefty at $180, and makes me wonder if you couldn’t just download a similarly styled app on your smartphone for half the price?
