Love ’em or hate ’em, infographics certainly do catch the eye. Like everything else, there are good ones and bad ones, and while most of them provide as much value as a chocolate teapot, there is the odd version which is really interesting. One of my favourites is the New Year’s Fail infographic, which really hit home.

Now you can join in the fun and produce your own useful fact laden graphic for others to enjoy, using the new site. The service, which is in free beta at the moment, gives you a set of free templates to start with, and you can add facts, images, cool graphic elements and stats to your heart’s content.

We managed to spend some time doing a chart of the average Ferret reader as above. Think we’ve got it about right!
