Having grown up playing SNES, I can’t help but miss it sometimes. I’ve used the Xbox 360, PS3, and the like, but nothing quite compares to those golden years of gaming. Surely there are others out there who feel the same way, and yearn for those simpler times. Just holding the controller can bring back some fond memories, so why not do just that?
ThinkGeek knows our deepest desires, and therefore gave us a wonderfully cheap window to the past. The Classic Super Famicom Controller for Wii is a nod to the past, while still using the new-fangled technology of today. It plugs into your Wii controller where the nun-chuck would normally go, and will let you play all of your old favorites on Wii Virtual Console. Costing about $20, this would either be a wonderful present, or a fun way to relive those fond gaming memories.
