Hidden Bookcase preserves the secrecy of your lair

We’ve seen one or two different ways of hiding part of your house with a bookcase, but they always end up being super expensive. Concealing an entire room is by no means a small task. Whether you want to have it just for a conversation piece, or to keep burglars from a room full of valuables, you’re going to have to be ready to drop some money on it.

This Hidden Bookcase is a slightly cheaper, yet still costly way to hide your secret lair. It can be made of either oak, maple, or cherry, and slides on a high-strength rail system. It will set you back about $3,000, with an additional $250 for shipping. Do keep in mind that the maple medium is the only wood type that costs the flat price. Every other type of wood will add on an additional fee or anything from $250-$950. You can choose between large and medium sizes, measuring 88 x 66 and 88 x 54 respectively. Should you choose to add a clear shine to the wood, it will cost you an additional $200.
