Virus Eliminating Desk Lamp brings germs to their knees

We all have a bit of a vendetta against germs. There’s nothing wrong with a few germs here and there, but we always want to keep it at somewhat of a minimum. If you receive a lot of mail, you likely try and keep it away from everything else, as you don’t know who has touched it, or where it’s been in its journey to your house.

The Virus Eliminating Desk Lamp will make sure none of those pesky little bacteria bits make it too far. At the base of the lamp is a vent with a built-in fan that spreads hydrogen and oxgen ions that will not hurt you, but will annihilate things like Staph, the flu, and MRSA. Apart from destroying viruses and bacteria, this lamp will also get rid of some smells such as tobacco smoke, allergens, and some nasty compounds that come from paint. You won’t need a filter, and it merely plugs into the wall. Costing about $300, you’ll get 50,000 hours out of the 42 LED lights which can be dimmed on three different levels.

  • This (according to the purveyor) will disseminate hydrogen and oxygen ions.
OK. There's plenty of oxygen where I am, otherwise I would have dropped dead already.
Where is this thing going to get its hydrogen ions from?
I dropped them a line to ask but they're closed until Thursday 08:00.

    • Their reply:
The micro plasma discharger splits water molecules in the air to form positive charged hydrogen.

    • Wonder what that means? :)

    • Probably that you'd have to be really desperate to drop 300 bucks on a 42-LED desk lamp before opting for this item.
