Spike gives your iPhone a real keyboard

Having an iPhone has been a wonderful experience for me. I’ve been using one for about three years now, and it has fulfilled every want I could have for a phone. However, when I first got it, I was used to the flip phones that had physical keyboards on them. I could type away and send texts or emails without even having to look at the screen.

If you are like me, and have switched to the flat, glass-faced phones, you probably miss real, tactile keys. This is why the Spike iPhone case looks to be quite promising indeed. There are three different versions, but they will all give you a physical keyboard to use for typing. Spike 1 is a combination of a protective case and keyboard, and is quite minimalistic. This case is priced at about $49. The Spike 2 case is a higher quality case with metal accents, and a 360 degree hinge for the keyboard. This will set you back about $50 (better quality for a dollar more, um…yes please). The Spike 3 is essentially the same as the Spike 2, but made of even higher quality materials such as aluminum, and costs about $150. Were it my choice, the Spike 2 would be a good option, and doesn’t cost much more than a mid-range iPhone case.
