EcoXPower uses the power of you to charge your gear

When you’re pedaling along on your bike, you probably want to have some music to make the task at hand a little less daunting. I guarantee you that going up a tall hill on a bike is much harder without music to distract you. However, if you like to go on long rides, you’ll probably need to find a way to keep your gear powered up without adding too much extra weight on.

The EcoXPower will make sure that you have the power you need without having to charge anything prior to your excursion. What powers all of this? You. This uses pedal-power to not only charge any device you want to plug into it, but you will also give energy to both a front and rear light if you should be riding at night. This kit comes with a water-resistant touchscreen case that mounts to your handlebars, lights for the front and back of your bike, power jack and cable connection, and more. It only costs about $100, and will work with everything from your smartphone to GPS.

  • Sorry, Caitlyn, thumbs down for this one.
The extra resistance from the dynamo will make it HARDER to get up that hill, not easier. Several such systems are already available and for a lot less than $100.

  • I like, need, and want this little gadget!

    thnx for sharing it.

    :)
