Cassette to iPod Converter is the modern day walkman

We’ve seen some converters that take a cassette and change it to a digital medium in the past. However, it stores the information on your computer, and then you have to put it onto your device to listen to it. If you are an iPod or iPhone user, then you will be pleased to know that you will be able to skip over that last step entirely.

The Cassette To iPod Converter will let you change your tapes to MP3 files on your iDevice and instantly be able to listen to it. It works alongside a free app, and the only work on your end of things will be to insert the tape, dock your iPhone or iPod, and press play. You can listen to the tapes without docking the whole thing by plugging in headphones, or you can convert it to a PC with the software that comes with the device. It will cost about $80, and needs two AA batteries to function.
