Logitech Wireless Rechargable Touchpad T650 does away with your mouse

Several years ago, there was talk of doing away with a mouse for computers. While that obviously didn’t end up being the case, there are still a lot of track pads being made. This is for those who would rather feel their way through their online environment than have to drag and click all the time.

The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650 has a glass touch surface area, and can point, click, and scroll just as well as any other computer peripheral. This was made to work in tandem with Windows 8, but that doesn’t mean that it won’t be useful in other situations. If you would like one for your very own, you’ll be looking at about $80 a pop.

  • But the mouse is for gaming. I’ve yet seen a trackpad that is useful for FPS…

For office work you don’t need a mouse *or* a pad. For scrolling, that’s what the keys named ‘pgup’ etc are for.

  • I have always preferred a trackball to a mouse.
I suspect I would miss the tactile/audible click experience if I were to try this device and $80 is too much to experiment.
