Muziic – is this the future of music radio?

muziic

The whole music scene is in turmoil, labels are struggling and albums are dying, but one thing remains constant. People want to listen to music wherever they are, and the online streaming services have stepped up to fill the gap left by declining radio quality. Spotify, Pandora and the others were the first of the ‘new radio generation’, but now others are also stepping up to the plate.

Muziic is one of the latest efforts to offer streamed music to the world, and it’s put together a really nice package. There’s nothing revolutionary about the service, no pretensions, just a beautifully clean interface and a constant stream of music delivered in the genre of your choice.

Choose your fave time or genre, select the ‘station’ you want and sit back and enjoy the music culled from a carefully selected set of Internet radio stations from the web. The trick lies in the careful segmentation and presentation, there’s nothing here you couldn’t get elsewhere with your own Net radio software, but Muziic has a design which makes it easy to listen and browse. Interesting. Definitely worth a bookmark.
