Internet Off – because sometimes you just need a bit of peace and quiet [Freeware]

It’s a noisy place this Internet. Forums, social networks, comments, chat, video, news…it’s all go, on the go, 24/7. Which makes it a curse as well as a blessing. It’s no surprise that there’s a rise in the levels of procrastination around the globe, we’re all too busy checking stuff out to get on with real work. Or maybe that is real work? Anyway, the fact is sometimes it would be nice to be able to switch the whole thing off for a while.

Now you can. Internet Off is a tiny Windows utility which sits in your taskbar waiting for you to press the OFF button. No frills, just a nice inviting opportunity to kick back, brew a cup of something warm and delight in the absence of noise, knowledge, data and headlines. Sound appealing? Well don’t hang about then, click on the link and download it.

But before you go, there’s something really interesting we found we think you should look at over here…
