Having a tablet is awesome for doing everything from reading books and watching movies, to talking to friends and working on homework. However, when it comes to using an iPad, sound is not always that great, which can detract from your media-related experiences. Normally you could just hook it up to external speakers, but then you have to worry about a cord sticking out of it while you’re trying to watch or listen to something.
This is why the ORA is an ingenious idea. This is both a case, and a speaker that will give you a stereo experience. This has eight speakers that all face you, instead of the two built-in speakers that are on the bottom of the iPad. All in all, you’ll get five times the loudness, and it can adjust between portrait and landscape mode. The magnetic flap that will serve as your screen cover can also serve as a stand. You’ll have all of the normal sound adjustment buttons, as well as a 3.5mm jack for your headphones, and it will cost you anywhere from $99-$149 for the case and cover. Although, I think it’s a safe bet that we’ve all already spent quite the pretty penny on accessories for our iDevices.
