When we die, we can’t really say what’s on the other side as we don’t know what’s there. While there are all sorts of views on what will happen, we all respect those who have passed on from the here and now. Some people choose cremation, giving their body to science, or a grave, but what if you could live on, even after you’re gone?
The Spiritree wants to commemorate life with life by means of planting a tree. Not just any tree mind you, but one that has been nourished out of a biodegradable cinerary urn. This has two pieces, an organic shell that will hold the ashes, and a ceramic cover that will let water in. Plant this in the ground, and you have yourself a living memory. This is not a topic we like thinking about, but this is a good way to remember someone (pets and people alike) fondly. This will cost $225 if you want this specific brand name, though I have a feeling you could craft your own if you know where to find the materials.
