Retro Kerosene LED Lamp – so cute it hurts

Sometimes it’s the simple things that count, like the way Mike Tyson’s nostrils flare when he’s reciting poetry, or the subtle whiff of cinnamon you get when the postman drops a fragile package on the sidewalk. No matter how you call it, some things just work because they’re right.

This Retro Kerosene LED Lamp for instance, is on the face of it, nothing more fancy than a USB rechargeable LED lantern which we’ve all seen before. But combine it with the delightfully fanciful blow-power switch, and you get a modern version of those ole time lanterns which were always being doused just as the sheriff arrives at the door to arrest our hero.

To add to the romanticism, there’s a lovely little knob which you turn to simulate a wick and increase or decrease illumination, and it comes in a fetching, and almost kerosene flavored, assortment of colors. We’re in love. Priced at $20.00.

  • So…is it a 1W or a 3W LED?
