Our world is an ever-changing place. If you bought something 20 or 30 years ago, is was big, bulky, and sturdy. Sadly, now a lot of the things we buy are cheap, plastic, and doomed to break within a year. There seem to be fewer and fewer arcades anymore, which is Bad News Bears if you’re a pinball addict. Playing a computerized version is just not the same if you don’t have the buttons to control the flippers, or can pull the plunger to send the ball flying.
The iPad Pinball Game Console is a pale imitation of its predecessor, but it may be enough to make you get that pinball fix. This “console” as it has been called will connect to your iPad through Bluetooth, and will let you play any of the games that are in the free app that go with it. It has a spring-loaded ball launcher and flippers, and will allow you to play with 1 player, 2 players, or teams. While this $60 accessory does sound pretty awesome, keep in mind that it will never be as awesome as the real thing.
