Photo Lamp Tripod – snazzy self portraits the easy way


You don’t have to be vain to enjoy taking a nice snapshot of yourself from time to time. OK, maybe just a tad self-absorbed but who’s counting? And unfortunately sometimes there’s no-one around to lend a hand, or a friendly wall or table.

That’s when this nifty little Photo Lamp Tripod could come in useful. The five piece set includes a monopod segment plus a handle and clamps to hold both a phone and an LED lamp with reflector. The monopod section telescopes to 19″ length to give you varying degrees of perspective, while the photo lamp offers 100 lumens of daylight illumination (5000K) to bathe your face with the lustre of a film star. Or something.


The handle of the unit conceals a small tripod unit which can be used standalone for the lamp or phone and the whole thing weighs around 250g. It’s the perfect gift for the narcissist in your life, and at £74.95 is somewhat cheaper than a extra large gold framed wall mirror. Works with iPhone 4S and 5 and most compact cameras.
