While not many people go to the opera anymore, those that do attend know how annoying it can be to try and squint to see the main act from a nose bleed seat. Uses opera glasses will work, but you have to hold them up to your face and adjust them accordingly. If you still attend shows and don’t want to feel like you’re birdwatching, you’ll be glad to know there’s a modern version floating around.
They’re called Kabuki Glasses, and they are opera glasses with auto-focus that rest on your face the same way sunglasses would. While this neo-victorian contraption is pretty awesome, it comes at a hefty price of around $320. They have up to 4x magnification, and are very lightweight. Good thing too, as no one wants to end a good night with a bad headache. These are pretty stylish, but a bit pricey!
