Kisai Neutron – does science fiction imitate life, or is it the other way around?

When watching Star Trek in its early days, some of their technology seemed a bit far-fetched. Now however, we use a lot of it on a daily basis! We’re no where near their level quite yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t try to mimic some of the awesome things they have.

The Kisai Neutron LED Watch looks like the culmination of the visors from Geordi La Forge and Cyclops from X-Men. While it may not do as many awesome things as either of the actual visors do, it will tell you the time in a nifty way (not nearly as exciting, but looks cool)! With a flick of the wrist, the current time will display through either blue, red, or white LEDs.

You can choose to have it ‘always on’, activated by movement, or by the press of a button. There is a wave (wave in and out) and a fade (pulse) mode that can be seen in the video below. The casing can either come in brushed black, gunmetal, or gold stainless steel. You’ll be looking at putting down $139+ on this, and it will need recharging for 3.5 hours every month or so.
