As promised earlier – and because it’s search week here at Ferret Towers – I’ve been playing around with a minty fresh download of the new Grokker 2.1 for the past few days. And it’s actually quite neat (e.g. it found some stuff that I didn’t know existed, which is definitely A Good Thing).
This kind of visualisation tech is great for finding associations between different data sets – which Google and ilk can’t do of course – which is also why MusicPlasma rocks.
I still think that Groxis has a cockeyed marketing plan though. It should take a leaf out of Copernic’s book and give away a Lite or Ad supported version for free, charge for a Premium one, and make its money out of the corporate and backend tools. But hey, what do I know? Definitely worth a download.
