The Humble Origin Bundle – epic EA and Origin games available on a pay what you can afford basis

The Humble Bundle game deals are legendary, and we’ve featured a few before. For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, the H.B. model is to offer a selection of great games to purchase and download at any price you can afford, even as low as $1.00 for the whole collection. What’s more, you get to choose how much of your payment goes to charity and how much to the game developers and publishers. Awesome.

Up till now these mega deals have been restricted to independent games and publishers, but that’s all changed it seems. The new Humble Origin Bundle is offering eight (yes 8) Electronic Arts and Origin smash games for whatever price you can afford. Actually it’s six games, but if you can meet the average price (which currently sits at just $4.74 for the whole set) you can download all eight.

The games include Medal of Honor, Battlefield 3, The SIMS Starter Pack and others – you’d be expecting to shell out around $200 to buy them normally. Which makes this ‘name your price‘ deal a bit of a bargain we’re thinking. The games will be distributed via Steam or Origin for Windows and the SIMS game is also available for Mac. You can pay via credit card, Paypal, Amazon and Google payments. Or even Bitcoin!

You’ve got 13 days to take advantage of the offer.
