Wow, Google has assembled a list of historic postings from the early days of the Internet and Web. Here, for example, is the Usenet posting by Tim Berners-Lee outlining his WorldWideWeb project (sic). Or what about the first mention of Microsoft Windows, or the first discussion of the Year 2000 problem (in 1985)?
