We have all experienced something worth recording in our life, be it the first words of a baby, a hysterical joke by a friend, or maybe a genius thought at some random time. Though smartphones and tablets already provide a solution for capturing audio it’s not simple. By the time you take out your phone the moment is usually gone.
The geniuses behind a new device have realized this problem and are eager to provide a simple, one-step process for capturing audio with a unique product. Kapture is an always-on wristband that lets the wearer record the last 60 seconds of audio at any time. It keeps overwriting itself, so all you record is the last 60 seconds of a conversation at any moment.
You can then simply tap the device to save and transfer the recorded audio to a paired Bluetooth device. Once the transfer is successful, Kapture will notify you with a quick vibration. There will be an Android and iOS app which will act as the UI for the wristband and all the transferred files will pop-up in the app where you can edit or playback your recordings.
Kapture comes in different colors, and is currently at the half-way point in securing funding, so they need support. Check out the official Kickstarter page for more info on the wristband. You can also support the project and secure a unit for yourself.
