Everyone loves to make fun of people wearing headsets in their ear. It’s got to the stage where it’s now automatically associated with being uncool, thanks to the remorseless mockery that Hollywood has been dishing out over the years in movies. It must be driving the marketing suits mad.

So mad in fact, that they’ve now come up with a new idea…store your headset on your wrist not your ear. Now is that clever or what? Yeah yeah, we know. Anyway, the Earzee Wrist Bluetooth Headset concept involves wrapping the headset around your wrist, and then slotting the mic part through your fingers, so you literally do end up talking to your hand. And they think this is a *better* idea?

The device pairs with your phone using Bluetooth, and comes with vibration alert for incoming calls. You get 3 hours talk time and 70 hours standby from the unit, and it’s USB rechargeable. It’s got to be the most unlovely smartphone accessory we’ve seen in quite a while, so it’s probably just as well that it’s priced at a lowly $19.99. We’re waiting for a Kickstarter project to start up which will re-design the whole concept and sell it to iPhone users for $199.99. They’ll make a bundle.
