iKettle – lets you boil your kettle with your smartphone

iKettle

Nowadays technology has made us all a bit lazy. Lazy enough to sit in front of the computer whole day looking at cute kittens and Instagramming our food. Even boiling a kettle for a couple of minutes seems like a waste of time which could be spent posting on Facebook. Wouldn’t it be awesome if our kettle was smart enough to boil the water on its own? So we could spend more time doing these all important things we love, instead of keeping watch on a boring kitchen utensil?

Lo and behold, the revolutionary iKettle is the world’s first WiFi kettle. It connects to your smart phone and lets you boil from anywhere in your house. No more painful wait, no more checking for ideal temperatures because this kettle does it all for you.

The smartphone app also serves as an alarm clock – in the morning you’ll wake up to the sweet sound and it will ask you whether you would like to “pop the kettle on” or not. Hit yes, and your water starts boiling and you’ll be notified once it’s at the ideal temperature for your preferred hot drink. There are 4 pre-defined temperatures for different drinks. The iKettle is now available for pre-order via FireBox for $159.59
