Yes yes we admit everything. We’re complete suckers for retro, even if it’s the kind that we didn’t really think looked that good first time round. Funny isn’t it, how we can come full circle to buying new stuff which looks exactly like the stuff folks were throwing out in yard sales for a couple of bucks just a decade or two ago? Weird.
Anyhoo, this Electrohome Retro Hi-Fi System certainly meets the bygones criteria with its push button, rotary dial brassy goodness leeching out all over the room. Yes it has a CD player (retro in itself now eh?) plus AM/FM radio and the ability to dock with a phone or MP3 player via an Aux In socket.
But it’s the fact that you can also play vinyl that’s really interesting, since black plastic discs are clearly making some sort of major comeback. Surely there aren’t that many hipsters in the world, are there? But we’re being snarky, so we’ll stop there. All this retro loveliness can be yours for a mere $199.99, so off you go and dig out those old vinyl copies of Nat King Cole (look it up).
