It might not be a friendly neighborhood pub where everybody knows your name but we seriously doubt anybody will be complaining about the view.

If your wallet is as big as your dreams, you need to start making plans to knock back a few drinks on the 75K Edge of Space Balloon Ride with Bar… and yes, that’s 75K as in 75 thousand dollars AKA $75,000.

What do you get for that hefty price tag? Well, unfortunately you don’t get the thrill of floating weightless through space so lose that mental image of you as James Bond, sipping a martini as you float through the air.

However, you do get the mother of all balloon rides as you and 5 other passengers (along with 2 pilots) soar 19 miles above the Earth aboard a pressurized capsule that happens to have a bar in it. The trip up would take about 90 minutes, the trip down is expected to take another 40 minutes, and passengers will float around for about 2 hours between the going up and going down portions of the ride so you’re looking at a total trip of about 4 hours.

Worth it? Totally. Will I be there? That depends.

If you’ll excuse me now, I need to try and figure out how much I can sell my family members for.
