Peachy 3D Printer – the low price makes it pretty peachy

Peachy 3D Printer

3D printing is becoming the trendy thing to do, but trivial things like eating and paying the light bill are habits that we’ve had for a lot longer so it seems like the idea of printing three-dimensional objects is kept from us because of the high prices involved. What would happen if somebody created a 3D printer that only cost $100? Well, that would be Peachy.

Affordable, small, and lightweight are three ways of describing the Peachy 3D Printer, which makes this recently-funded Kickstarter project so appealing to us. Another description that greatly appeals to us is ‘easy to assemble.’ Forget about buying high-dollar power tools or renting someone with an Engineering degree to put this thing together because all you’ll need in order to assemble this printer is about an hour of your time and some glue; no ironing, soldering, or complicated electronics to deal with.

The Peachy website doesn’t have their online store open yet but you might want to get on their mailing list if you have any interesting in the latest 3D trend. 3D printers for only $100 don’t exactly grow on trees.
