Kinetic Light Newton’s Cradle – Can somebody please stop that irritating clack… Ohhh! Pretty!

Kinetic Light Newton's Cradle

The classic desk accessory is one of those items that simply has no middle ground. You either love it or hate it. However, adding a light show to the mesmerizing physics demonstration could sway some of the haters while making the lovers feel even more joy.

Before the Internet came along to suck away our productivity with pictures of cats doing cute things, we had to rely on old-school techniques to forget about how boring our lives were. The Kinetic Light Newton’s Cradle adds a new twist to the retro time-waster by switching out the metal spheres for frosted glass spheres that have LEDs inside them.

The lights react based on their position and the cradle’s light settings, which can be adjusted to flash, fade, or cycle through the alternating colors. Shake things up by swinging the spheres in different ways to see the various ways the lights will react. Once your through playing studying the laws of conservation of mass and energy, just hit the power switch to turn the Cradle off so you can get back to focusing on work.

The light show can begin for just $49.99.
