Your love for cars and your passion for music collide with this unique speaker dock that gives you a variety of options to choose from. Are you ready to race?
The powerful rumble of a racing engine might no longer pour forth from these sweet pipes but the Formula One Speaker Dock still makes the sounds that can bring a smile to your face.
Crafted in Modena, Italy, and made from either the left or right manifold of a retired eight-cylinder F1 engine, this unique speaker dock delivers some serious sound with two silk-dome, 70-watt tweeters and two PPM-cone, 70-watt mid-range speakers tucked within the openings of the manifold’s four headpipes. Meanwhile, the bass is provided by a doped-paper cone 140-watt active subwoofer that’s located at the end of the manifold’s collector tube.
Adding just a little more awesome to this eye-catching speaker, you get to choose the type of engine manifold you want, with the choices including a 1978 Cosworth DFV, a 2006 Renault RS26, and a 2007 Ferrari 056, just to name a few.
Further customization is possible by selecting from the six available colors to decide what color the base, leather trim, hex screws, and corrosion-resistant 6082 anodized aluminum speaker cowlings will be.
Compatible with iPhones and iPods with 30-pin connectors, this chromed-out speaker dock is available for $8,500.
