Animated Talking Reindeer – Because it’s just not Christmas without a realistic reindeer… that talks

Animated Talking Reindeer

So you’re a little confused about how to decorate for Christmas this year. Should you go the cartoon-style route or keep things more realistic-looking? Why not do both?

Originally created just for European collectors, everyone can now enjoy the screaming nightmares warm fuzzies provided by the Animated Talking Reindeer.

It’s sort of like someone got lost somewhere down the road. The reindeer looks realistic(ish), and the big guy could almost be considered educational because he comes with a ‘Toys that Teach’ tag, which describes the reindeer’s habitat, lifestyle, gestation period, care of their young, and eating habits. You just have to remember to tell the kiddies that most reindeer in the wild don’t usually talk to people.

Because the reindeer’s ‘fur’ covers a lightweight, structural steel frame, both kids and adults can hop on the beast’s back for a ride… as long as the rider doesn’t weigh more than 150lbs. We think this would be a really cool feature if the reindeer was animated enough to walk around. Alas, he just stands there and moves his head from side to side. Still, it makes a nice photo op for the holidays when no real reindeer are wandering through your neighborhood.

This particular wildlife experience costs $5,400, which could be worthwhile when you consider the lack of a distinct holiday look means you could conceivably leave this guy out in your yard all year.
