PKParis K2 – easily move files between mobile phones and computers with this tiny dual plug USB key

If you’ve ever tried to move files from your mobile phone to your laptop or back again, you’ll know that it’s not that easy. You can try kludgy Bluetooth (but good luck if the file is bigger than a toothbrush) or you can try emailing it to yourself etc etc etc. Such a time waster all round… But now there’s a nice new alternative option.

The PKParis K2 is a clever dual plug USB flash key which contains a microUSB on one end and a standard USB plug on the other, plus 16 GB of on-board memory. When you want to move a file (for instance a movie from mobile phone to laptop) just plug the dongle into the microUSB port of the phone, copy across the file, remove and then plug the other end into the laptop USB port and fire up the file copy app. Job done.

The device also features a microSD card reader, which is again a very handy tool for moving data around from phones to computers and back again, using standard USB sockets. It’s clearly been thought out well, and although there are other similar products on the market, this is the most sophisticated one we’ve seen so far. The product is priced at €29.90 and comes with a neat keychain attachment.
