I agree completely with Tom on this. I don’t care what it does, but this ‘ere Aaton Cantar-X sure looks the part. Exactly what part I’m not sure, but it’s definitely a part. A great big, Alien vs Predator, Feeling Lucky Punk?, I’ll Be Back kind of part. Oh, it’s a portable digital audio recorder you say? With built in 120GB hard disk and DVD burner? For �10,000? Ahh…

You’re right — it really doesn’t matter what it does. Honestly, I wish everything looked like this. My father was an A/V Producer and in the day — as in the 80s — everything looked like this. Now everything looks too much like an iPod — this is excellent panacea.
