Feel the width.

There’s a significant proportion of peeps who experience problems printing out the whole of a web page in Internet Explorer (the right hand edge ends up missing). Well the Fitted-Width Printing Control is a small download which will install an icon and toolbar to overcome the problem. Haven’t tried it yet, but one of my offline readers says it works as advertised.

  • Hi Red,

Couldn’t get the software. The link just made me go around in circles. Any idea where else I could download it from?

  • You need to install the control first in order for it to install. Otherwise it just goes round to the original page.

  • In Firefox it just gave me the run-around (which I guess it should). Under IE6 it installed easily. Looks like it shrinks the whole page to fit width, doesn’t rewrap text or anything. Pretty lo-tech, but it works.
