Q: When is a robot not a robot? A: When it’s a furry little orange ball of wobble. The Mocoro Robot Ball Duster looks a little like a…well orange ball, but in fact it’s a cunningly disguised cleaning robot.
You see the Japanese have worked out that deep down we all mistrust robots, and won’t take kindly to our jobs and homes being over-run by the little varmints. We all remember Cyberdyne Systems you see and we’re just a bit scared that it’s gonna happen in our face.
The result is a new set of fluffy robots, of which this is one of the first. What does it do? Well it rolls around your floor collecting fluff and dirt and stuff in its cloth covered outer skin. Once that’s done, you clean it off and set it going again. Rinse and repeat until clean floor.
To wash, you just skin the creature, pop the fluffy cover in the washing machine and you’re good to go again. We’re not going to comment on the efficiency of this little thing, except to say you’d better like hunting around under tables. Priced at $34.46.
