The Inveteratus Watch. There’s something superbly delicious about creating a concept timepiece that measures the passing of the hours by cycling through television listings. It’s so well perfectly 21st century, doncha think? [Via wristfashion]
Inveteratus is a watch that references a more culturally appropriate timescale than the movement of the sun: the television schedule. Today many of us structure our own time around the television, rather than the sun. Inveteratus scrolls through a television listing over the course of a day. In this way the wearer has an enhanced sense of the passing of the day.
Nice one, very interesting. Not sure how I missed that one because I love Wrist Fashion myself. Anyways, cheers for that.

That is so 20th CEntury – nobody structures their life round TV schedules anymore! They PVR all the shows and watch them at their convenience. get with the programme man!!!!!
Yea, but at least you can know when your programs are being recorded/saved by looking at your wrist.
Omigosh L, you’re right. PVRs rule! :-) But on the other hand, it’s definitely got Xtra 21st century street cred, just for the novelty factor! :-)
Heh, sorry Reevo. :-)
Yeah, I suppose the retro vibe with the ’60s formica look and the ’60s community of TV idea might well work for some people.
