One day, not that long ago, the world woke up to the sight of a new product on the market called the Ostrich Pillow. This totally weird thing, was designed to a) help you get a good solid sleep anywhere there was a firm surface and b) make you look like a complete dork in the process. OK, so we’re not exactly sure about the last part, but it definitely achieved that effect.
Now, as if in answer to all the critics, we’re pleased to say the designers have come up with Mk 2, the Ostrich Pillow Lite. This elegant (!) cousin to the full version, offers the same kind of deep cushion comfort which lets you lean against hard objects during your snooze, but takes away the kind of excessive design features which made the full version so darn weird.
The pillow is actually a odd shaped bean bag, since it contains all those little polystyrene balls which can adjust to any shape, but it’s got nice touches like the drawstring to help make it fit better on different sized and shaped heads. Anyway, if comfort and rest are more important to you than looking strange on the bus, then this is the thing you need. Priced at $44.99.
