Ari Friedman has set up a website (soon to be a wiki?) to document the Substantial, Non-Infringing Uses of P2P networks, and present the truth about how useful this technology is, irrespective of what the music industry would have us believe. 

He put out a call for contributions and so the Ferret did a search n’trawl through all the ones we’ve found over the past few years and came up with this list of 16 15 which we have sent to him. Fascinating. Also see his paper here.
